Share your Testimony with the Commission

The Commission welcomes and encourages your input on all Commission matters. There are various ways for you to get your public comment to the Commission. You can testify at a public meeting, submit comment online, record and share a video,

Please be advised that all written comments submitted to the Washington State Redistricting Commission are public records under Washington law (RCW 42.56), and that written comments may be published on the Washington State Redistricting Commission website.

Ways to Provide Public Comment

You can submit testimony to the Commission at any time, in any language, in multiple formats, before or after District's outreach meeting.

Testify During a Virtual Public Meeting

Due to COVID-19, all Commission meetings are held virtually by Zoom video-conference and broadcast on https://www.tvw.org. If you wish to provide public comment during the meeting you may sign up for public comment on the public meetings page.

You can email your public comment in any language to: comments@redistricting.wa.gov. Please mention if your comment is:

  • Regarding a regularly scheduled meeting, including the date and/or agenda item
  • Your District meeting, and community feedback
  • If your comment requires a response

Find Your Outreach District

The Commission will be holding special forums for each of our state's Congressional Outreach Districts to engage with you and your community. Find out when your local Outreach meetings are by locating your Congressional District.
