Commissioners' Draft Plans

The four voting members of the Redistricting Commission completed its 11 month assignment by approving a final congressional district plan New Year’s Day. Two weeks earlier, the panel’s two Republicans and two Democrats submitted a plan for Washington’s 49 legislative districts to the Legislature. Commissioners approved both plans unanimously. The legislative plan was amended by the Legislature on February 8, 2002.
